school’s out … 060708

i cannot believe how quickly summer rolled around.  teens are getting out or are already out of school.  many are trying to get summer jobs, but many are reporting how difficult it is these days.  the jobs they would normally get is being taken by adults who are themselves out of work.  the most qualified gets the job or the first who shows up.  after the first week of proclaiming how free they are and how they couldn’t wait to get out of school, they will be singing their favorite song, “how boring it is”.  the days gets long.  getting in trouble with parents or guardians and within the community rises.  so what do you do?  let me suggest plugging these teens in affordable camps, have them volunteer at non-profit organizations, baby sit, learn to swim, etc.  you may have other suggestions.  why not share them here.
