who’s to blame? … 060608

is it the environment? society? parents? the media? sin? the devil? this question comes to mind when we are witnessing a spirit of restlessness among our teens. this spirit has given place to such violent behavior that has manifested itself in teens beating another teen and then videotaping it for youtube. vandalism of schools and other properties. not to mention the shootings and the other criminal behavior that we are witnessing. so who do we blame? hmmh! do we hold the teens responsible for their behavior and respond with as severe a punishment / consequence as we are able to find? do we seek to rehabilitate? what do we do? any ideas?
