responsible teen … 060408

is this an oxymoron or what? i have had so many parents tell me how responsible their teenagers are. when you are almost at the point where you are about to be convinced that maybe there is some truth to this, you are quickly brought back to reality. there are some teens that do behave in a responsible manner when the time calls for it, but because they are teens, this becomes short-lived. i don’t believe that such burden should be put on a teen when they are not physically, emotionally or mentally ready for such assignments. their brain is not yet developed to take on this pressure. in your experience have you found this to be true or maybe i have not yet met the ones you know. let me know what you think.
