have you ever asked a teen what they want to do in life or if they did something that seemed to make no sense, why they did that? what is almost always the guaranteed answer? let me guess … um … here it comes (i’m thinking, scratching my head .. ah here it is), “i don’t know”. have you ever had that response? if you haven’t its one of two things. 1. you never worked with or have any relational discussion with a teen or 2. you are not the parent of a teenager. if you do not fit #1 or #2, then you have heard that response maybe more times than you would like. now having settled that, what thoughts do you have or how do you respond when you hear that? let me hear your response …
