in california … 05.15.08

hey y’all i’m out here in california @ the urban youth workers conference (UYWI) … this is my second year coming out here & as always “its tight!” i have to give big props to the organizers cuz they do things 1st class. other organizations cud learn from them how to put on a conf. my flight was delayed from ft. lauderdale, florida. it was an hr late but thank god it was cuz i wud have been left behind. i woke up @ 5:05 a.m & my flight was @ 6 so you do the math. it’s 10 of us that is part of the team. 5 of us came on the 1st flight. the other 5 came l8r but their flight was also delayed as well not 1 hr but 6 hrs. feeling their pain? this is gonna be a long day cuz its 3 hrs behind out here. so i’m gonna be feeling like a zombie pretty soon so pray 4 me. anyway, thats whats up right now. imma be hitting you up with more teen stuff once i get back to my normal routine. you wanna keep checking in on my blog. i’m outta here right now. so peace out.
